USB C problem

I have problems when connecting peripherals since updating USB driver to 2.33

I now need to restart computer almost every time I need to connect a memory stick or a external hard disk to make it boot and display on the desktop. I have tried to use both USB-memory sticks as well as regular sticks using the USB port of the HDMI adapter.
